How long teardown waits for drain cycles already in flight, in milliseconds. A reaction handler parked on an await (an HTTP call, a database write) holds its stream's lease until it acks, so abandoning it means the replacement worker cannot claim that stream until the lease expires โ€” up to leaseMillis of dead time per in-flight stream on every rolling deploy, with the completing handler's round of work discarded and redelivered (#1442).

Defaults to the largest leaseMillis configured across the Act's lanes (capped at 30s), because a lane's lease is already the operator's statement of how long a handler may legitimately hold a stream. Lanes that pinned no lease contribute the same 10s default drain() uses.

0 restores the pre-#1442 behavior: stop scheduling and return without waiting. Whatever the budget, it is a ceiling and not a delay โ€” teardown proceeds the moment the last in-flight cycle finishes.
